“Please limit your portfolio to 5mb”

Took me all morning, and I had to throw out 3 of 5 projects and cut down the other 2. And... the images are all 75 dpi now.

I don’t mind limits, 15mb would be completely reasonable, 10mb easily doable, but 5mb? I have single images that are bigger than that!

Have a very nice 911 for your time.

I was asked to do research on a project I don’t have access too and to let them know what I need assistance with. I mentioned I don’t have access to the files. They said that was fine...

So I did nothing.

It’s all online too. However, sending live links in emails seems to set off spam filters, some of my first round weren’t received and I had to re-send.

its a bitch but it could be so much worse. at least these days there is hiring occurring. when i was calling around every person said, no, we’re not hiring, we just laid off 10 people. look into some small places. you get to do more than you would in a larger office.

The average image size on my computer right now is about 750mb, with a large number over 1 gb
